Getting Fit with SWEAT

Its that time of year again. New Years Resolutions have been made and I would put money on it that many of them are all about getting in shape! We all have a tendency to let ourselves go when the weather gets cooler and the yummy holiday treats start getting passed around.

The New Year is time for a new you. A better you maybe? Plus we can’t forget the fact that swimsuit season is just a few months away. Umm…cringe!

I began using Kayla Itsines’ BBG program through the SWEAT app last year and saw amazing results! I fell out of it around the holidays and just started it back up today and WHEW! I am sore!!


I love this app though, because it is so user friendly and easy to follow. All of the workouts can be done from home with minimal to no equipment and I can do it on my time. My kids even get in on it (whether attempting their own workout or by adding more resistance to mine).

I like the classic BBG, which incorporates 3 30 minute resistance workouts and 3 low intensity training sessions (like walking) per week, and hope to progress to the BBG Stronger program once I complete the first round. If those types of workouts aren’t your speed though, they also have a yoga program, pregnancy workout and post-pregnancy workouts. There is truly something for everyone!
