We spent our Fall Break in Gatlinburg this past weekend, and it was such great family time and beautiful fall weather!
I wore this comfy set for the drive up. I’m truly obsessed with it! The material is so soft and it’s a very flattering fit.

The next day we took the kids on their first ever hike. We decided to stick to a short one and did the easy 2.3m hike to Grotto Falls. It’s a pretty little waterfall that you can actually walk behind! On our walk back we actually ran in to a black bear and got to watch it for about 20 minutes! They are eating as much as possible this time of year to prepare for hibernation, so if you want to see a bear, now is a great time to go!

On our third day, we went to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies (our second time visiting! It’s such a kid friendly place!) and then walked around downtown Gatlinburg before taking the chair lift up to Anakeesta. Anakeesta is also super family friendly! There’s so many activities for the kids (plus good bars and restaurants for the adults) with stunning scenic views all around. If you want to catch a meal up there, plus explore, I suggest alotting 4-5 hours!

On our final day in Gatlinburg, we finally got some pancakes!! I found a place that offered Gluten Free pancakes (not easy to find up there!) and they were delicious! Definitely check out Flapjacks if you are gluten sensitive! Then we had a simple game of putt putt and road a mountain coaster at Goats on the Roof in Pigeon Forge. This place wasn’t far from our AirBnB and yes, there were actual goats on the roof! 🤣

I will link our AirBnB HERE! It was 3 stories and had sleeping arrangements for 16!! Would be a great family getaway for a large group!
